Film Work
Early in 2013 Jordan worked with an amazing group on a post graduate student short, The Rose Bowl, produced in part by Headlong Entertainment, directed by Tim Kirkman and written by Allison Bonn. Not only did Jordan enjoy the company of the cast and crew and their incredible talents and hard work but the story itself kept her laughing. What would you do to have your baby first? How far would you go to win The Rose Bowl?

A hearty congratulations to all who worked so hard making the piece come together, especially the writer/director Raffy Cortina who poured every ounce of himself into making this film happen. Mr. Cortina won the gold medal at the 2013 Student Academy Awards in June 2013. You can see his acceptance speech on his website for his production company, Flavor Films to find out more information about this project and what he has planned next.

Bottled Up
2012 has had a steep learning curve for Jordan, she not only had the chance to work with her film mentor, Cidgem Slankard, on an indie short about Cleveland assisting with art direction and props. She had the ability to work on location in downtown Cleveland on dark, snowy mornings. Ms. Egbertson also had the chance to partake in a upper level student film as art director and location scout as well as a small role in the film. The opportunity to work with local businesses and overcome design challenges was an amazing experience. The short dealt with genre stereotypes in film and was a lot of fun to make.
Cleveland, I Love You
Jordan is currently working on building her film and television portfolio but she was excited to direct her first film, Rejected, in the fall of 2011. With a budget of nothing and a cast and crew of students from Baldwin-Wallace College as well as help from professors and advisors she was able to film over a weekend and spend just under 2 weeks editing the project. Time was of the essence and the process was a great experience in learning how the process of creating a film works. Click on the link below to check out Jordan's first work.
Rejected
Jordan looks forward to her future endeavors in film and television and admires Aaron Sorkin and JJ Abrams with their ability to create for film and TV.
